CBS Students’ Post

𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻à𝗰𝗶𝗼 🌟 We are excited to share an Interview with Inês Domingos Inácio - a dedicated colleague who not only excels in her daily work but has also recently been elected as Staff Representative for Nexus. In this new role she represents the Interests of the entire team and is committed to ensuring that Nexus continues to grow and improve. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺? That is an interesting story. I was still in Portugal browsing through the CBS Instagram and related Instagrams just to start knowing what is up in the university I would join, when I stumbled across the Nexus post about wanting to hire staff. I needed a job, the cafe seemed very nice so I applied and I got in. I didn't know of Nexus before this but it was an amazing surprise. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘀? Definitely, the vibe. It's a place on campus where you can go and just study, or be friends enjoying a beer or some coffee. The music is always nice and quiet for the majority of the time. 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻? That Nexus has 6 rooms besides the bar. I think people would expect like 2 or 3. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼-𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘂𝘀? I am very bias in this question. The Sour Bitch is my signature cocktail, so I always recommend my own creation.
