CBS Students’ Post

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗣 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿! 🌟 Last but not least our Organisational VP, Casper Voogt! We asked him a few questions about his motivation for joining CBS Students, his thoughts on student life, and his CBS Students essential. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  I've always enjoyed being involved as a student representative because it’s one of the best ways to actually make a difference. I was part of a student union in high school and have been a student representative, where I’ve seen how much impact a strong student voice can have. Joining the student union at university felt like a natural next step. My goal is to help create a union that truly serves students, whether that’s by addressing concerns, improving student life, or simply making sure everyone feels heard. It’s about making the student experience the best it can be. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀?  Honestly, just that we’re here! A lot of students don’t really know where to find us or what we do, but we’re always available if you have a concern, an idea, or just want to get involved. There are so many possibilities—whether it's improving student culture, tackling issues, or organizing events that bring people together, we want to hear from you. You don’t need to be part of the union to contribute, just reach out, and we’ll work together to make things happen! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲?  “You are analytical with data and curious about ambiguity”. I like this Nordic Nine quote since it highlights the balance between exploration and structure. It’s important to stay curious about ambiguity and approach it with a data-driven mindset. In CBS Students, we often deal with issues where there’s no clear answer, and being able to navigate uncertainty by researching, analysing and asking the right questions is key to making change happen. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗕𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹? My organised, clean desk in the office. When I work for CBS Students, this is the place where I always sit. I think a nice and tidy desk is the way to keep a good overview of what’s going on. It helps me stay on top of things, focus, and make sure I don’t forget important tasks.
