While Kelsey attended college to be an aerospace engineer, her best friend was a civil engineer, having fun on the concrete canoe team. She felt there was an important choice to make. Do I actually want to sit behind a desk doing engineering, or do I want to, you know, be able to be out in the field and out in the construction, you know, world more? Kelsey chose a little of both. Professionally, you know, I like working in a position that you know we can use you know new technologies, and new, you know, engineering practices and then, you know, give a better product back to the community. Kelsey joined the City as an intern for two summers before going full time in 2020. Today, she's a Traffic Engineer and enjoys working with her customers: homeowners and drivers in St. Peters. You know, we talk to residents, for all of the concerns and you know, some residents do you know, express thanks that, you know, concerns get addressed quickly. And we spend, you know, a lot of time trying to plan and design road projects that do improve, you know, transportation within the community. Kelsey���s a vital part of the team, making traffic flow safely and efficiently. I'm Kelsey, and I'm a Difference Maker.
