Time Filter in Query for Story Reports In this quick (2-min) video, I have described how Time Filters can be applied to a query. You can 1) use "As of Date" or "Date Range" to restrict data, and 2) base it on "Fixed Date" or "Dynamic Date". Examples: 1) Fixed Date: 26 Aug 2025 2) Dynamic Date: First Day of Current, Next or Last Week, Month or Year. To understand it better, watch the video. Share with others, if you think it can help someone in your network.

The DORA Register of Information: A long list, with plenty of complex info. How do you keep track of it? Are you manually going over every cell in the spreadsheet to check that it contains the necessary info? 😖 The file format is only a part of ensuring your RoI is regulator-ready; the actual content is even more important. Our RoI Health Check is built with this in mind. To save you the time figuring out where the gaps are, so you can instantly focus on getting it ready for export. It ensures that the quality of the data is in line with what regulators expect, not just for one vendor, but for your entire RoI. ✅ Combining this with the built-in XBRL-CSV file export, it gives you the peace of mind to know that your RoI is ready for the regulators. 😌

I was thinking of Jim Weirich as I crafted this connascence prompt: "Perform a connascence-as-change-binding analysis of the system across all nine forms with explicit definitions (Value = invariants/enumerations only, Identity = stable references, Timing = freshness/latency/read-after-write only, Execution = required step ordering only, Algorithm = shared derivation logic, Position = order-dependent indices/params/tuples, Meaning = semantic interpretation/taxonomy only, Type = data shape/kind consistency, Name = identifier consistency). For each, reason about Severity (relative; keep ~3 High in total), Locality (Low=function/module, Medium=bounded context, High=cross-service/runtime/vendor; elevate to High when externalized/serialized/vendor-facing), and Degree (Low=few, Medium=some, High=many; count edits not observers). Provide 1–2 precise, form-pure examples. Think about prioritization as the combination of Severity × Locality × Degree so the riskiest forms are emphasized, but leave output structure and ordering flexible."

We used Claude to optimize its own tools by running evaluations and reviewing its own transcripts. This revealed three key principles: • Use clear, descriptive tool names. • Return only essential context rather than full database entries. • Build fewer, more focused tools rather than comprehensive sets.
