We’ve been having a lot of conversations lately about what growth really looks like for research sites. It’s not just about more studies; it’s about sustainability, efficiency, and being prepared for what comes next. Sometimes, the most valuable investment a site can make is in its own visibility. 👀

🌍 Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a business imperative. That’s why I’m excited about our Level 4 Sustainability for Business Impact programme. It’s designed to equip professionals with the skills to embed sustainable practices that make sense commercially as well as environmentally. What makes it powerful is its relevance to all sectors: ✅ Manufacturers can reduce waste and energy costs. ✅ Tech firms can build greener supply chains. ✅ Service providers can strengthen their brand by meeting client expectations for responsible business. Sustainability is no longer a “nice to have” - it’s a driver of efficiency, innovation, and long-term resilience. Investing in skills like these means businesses can meet today’s challenges while preparing for tomorrow’s opportunities. 💡 The future of business is sustainable... Are you building the skills to lead that change?

Sustainability has been increasingly important business value for me throughout years. Before sustainability was a nice thing to have, but now it is moving towards hard business value. And when it is a business value – it must be also measurable. Sustainability might be a bit hard ball to measure. Harward Law School made a very neat article discussing the topic of sustainable ROI, or ROSI (Return of Sustainable Investment) as some sources call it. “Unlike traditional ROI, which mostly emphasizes investments’ short-term financial returns, sustainability ROI adopts a longer-term view, measuring financial, environmental, and social value. Its complexity lies in the multidimensional nature of sustainability and in factoring in intangible benefits, among other factors.” Still, three out of four company CEO/CFO indicates that the primary interest of ROI in sustainability is “Strengthening our sustainability story” (as per the article). So, there is still miles to be travelled to get Sustainability ROI more recognized. Breaking it to smaller, tangible pieces; one of the ROI is total cost of ownership, like · Lower electricity bills · Lower water consumption (and bills) · Longer lifetime of products This comes quite practical even in individual level – just check your electricity bill. https://lnkd.in/d9Vq4epW
