TCXO, Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator Temperature compensated crystal oscillators, TCXOs are used in many electronic circuit designs when a higher level of accuracy and stability is needed than is possible with a standard crystal oscillator. By applying a voltage to the control terminal according to the temperature, it’s possible to counteract the effect of temperature on the crystal.
