The Netherlands is rolling out solar and wind power at a massively accelerated rate! In the past three years, the Dutch have added about 1,300 kWh of clean energy per person (I've managed to add 9,000kWh/per year during this time), putting the country right up there with Sweden and Finland, almost matching the legendary pace of France’s '80s nuclear boom. That’s a ton of sunshine and seaside breezes being turned into kilowatts. With more wind turbines and solar panels lining rooftops combining with grid upgrades and storage, the Dutch renewable revolution here is hopefully only going to get faster. If you want more data on the speed of renewable role out check our Hannah Ritchie's latest post: https://lnkd.in/eaPDCYjH
