Do the Reps!

This weekend, I competed in an event at my local gym (Burn Boot Camp) called the "Level Up Games." Three intense exercise circuits. A challenge that pushed me physically and mentally. It was both humbling and inspiring. But the moment that really stuck with me? The winner of the men’s division (Will Curtis) wasn’t the flashiest or the most naturally gifted. It was the guy to my right someone who holds the gym record for most classes attended: over 1,000. As he stood on the podium, it hit me. Success doesn’t always come from talent or the spotlight. It comes from consistency. Showing up. Doing the reps. This lesson doesn’t just apply to fitness. It’s just as true for your career. If you're job searching, networking, or even pivoting into something new you don’t have to do everything at once. Just keep showing up. Reach out to that one former colleague. Apply to that one role. Learn that one new thing today. And if you're feeling burned out? Take a breather. Reset. But then get back in the game. Reps compound. Progress adds up. Keep going. Your podium moment is coming.
