It was a pleasure helping to bring this program to life alongside Port Augusta City Council. Wonderful to see the community embracing creativity and connection through the workshops.
This year, Potentia Energy proudly sponsored the Port Augusta City Council’s Age Friendly Arts Program. The program was designed to bring creativity, connection and wellbeing to community members aged 50 and over. This program supports the community which is home to our Bungala Solar Farm and newly-approved Emeroo BESS. The program kicked off with a soapstone necklace workshop, which was fully booked out, at the Yarta Purtli Art Gallery. All sessions are run by local or visiting artists and will continue for the remainder of the year, with a great mix of workshops for the community to participate in, including watercolour painting, limestone sculpture, acrylic art classes and more. The council is expecting more than 660 participants to take part, and the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re proud to see this initiative making a real difference in connecting the community through creativity. It reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening communities and creating positive, lasting impacts where we operate. Danielle Davis Werther Esposito Sunny R.
