No question, I have a vanity problem. I can't pass by a single mirror without checking out how I look from the front, side and yes, behind. (There's no shame in that.) Similarly, up until recently, I would often Google myself several times per week. It's important to know how others not only view you physically, but also virtually. And now (as if I needed yet another vehicle to indulge in my fascination of how I'm perceived by others), I have the ability to obsess over it in real-time with LLM's! Anytime I want to, I can log onto ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Co-Pilot and give it prompts like, "You are a journalist writing an article about Fishman Public Relations President Debra Vilchis. What are some important facts you can tell me about Debra, personally and professionally?" You can call it vain, or even odd, but I do this VERY frequently. For growing brands, I would argue that an obsession with external perception is NOT odd, it's healthy, essential ... and highly recommended. We all know that AI is consuming and spitting out everything about your brand that is on the internet. And in these days of no-click searching, your AI summary IS your brand! That’s why our team at Fishman Public Relations is laser-focused on not just SEO but also GEO. This isn’t just about publicity anymore. It’s about training the internet to understand who you are. We're leading the charge on GEO for our clients.
