No 67-tab spreadsheets. No documents the length of a dissertation. No slide decks you need a packed lunch to get through. I use this same framework whether it’s for a big brand or a one man band: 1. Who are you talking to? 2. What keeps them up at night? 3. How can you make their life easier by what you do? (be realistic and specific here… don’t promise like “a brunch with a twist” and then deliver like a bap with a denny sausage and cling film still on.) 4. What do we want them to do? That’s it. Four clear steps. Use them properly and you won’t need a 67-tab anything. Simples.

👩🚀 🚀 E X C E L S P A C E T I P ☄✨ Did you know, you can add spaces to formulas to make them easier to read? Well, you can, and you should! 😊 Inmedievaldaysbookswerewrittenbymonkswithoutspacesbetweenwords. Did you find that easy to read? Of course, not – it has no spaces. But this was standard practice in medieval books. Over time, however, spaces were added between words to make texts easier to read. When writing spreadsheet formulas, however, we are still mostly following the medieval monks. 😫 Surprise, surprise, this means that formulas – especially those which are longer or more complex – are harder to read. And harder to write, check, amend and understand. 😊 Therefore, I recommend you add spaces to your formulas e.g., after every argument separator (a comma or semi-colon, depending on your regional settings) or before every plus-sign. This makes them easier to read etc. and has no impact on results as Excel ignores them. If you want to “retrofit” spaces into your formulas, make a back-up of your file then simply search and replace all argument separators (a comma or semi-colon) with a separator followed by a space. What do you think? Do you already follow this tip? Please let me know in the comments below: 👇👇👇 #brainknotts #exceltips #exceltipsandtricks

What do you think happens when you invoke a DeleteTextRequest on a text box or table cell in Google Slides? Do you think the text gets deleted? Well, kind of. Some bullet-list related information is stored separately and if the original text contained bullets, then when you insert new text after a DeleteTextRequest, the insertion result will start with a bullet whether you like it or not. So should you just always do a DeleteTextRequest followed by a DeleteParagraphBulletsRequest? Nope, because if the original text didn't contain bullets then the latter will return an error! So to really, really delete in a TextContent container you need to first check whether it has bullets, then do a DeleteTextRequest, then maybe a DeleteParagraphBulletsRequest, depending.
