Dillon Ceglio’s Post

One thing is for certain, timing is just as important as innovation. Mark Moschel and I have been working on everyday athlete for most of 2025 and our launch is right around the corner. This year, we’ve tested a multitude of different formulations and have personally made thousands of samples that we shared with the running and HYROX community, pro athletes and sports nutritionists for feedback. What we found is that the more samples we hand out, the more our confidence builds that we’re coming to the market at the right time. We’re building everyday athlete on three primary insights: Performance Gels – the gel form factor is ready to expand beyond energy gels and single supplements into the larger Performance Gels category. Everyday Athletes – for a growing number of people (everyday athletes), fitness is emerging as a new social infrastructure, replacing traditional hubs like the office, bar, or church as the center of community, structure, and identity. Fuel Carbs – fuel carbs are still underutilized, or not used at all, by many athletes, even as the latest emerging research suggests higher carbs before, during, and after training support performance, recovery, and next-day readiness. everyday athlete sits at the intersection of all three. Our pilot production is set, our packaging has been ordered, our ingredients have been sourced, our website is in development, and our early adopter community is growing immensely. So to kick things off, we’ll be offering 1,500 trial kits (3 Energy + 3 Refuel) before our official launch. If you or any of your friends are interested in being one of our first customers, head over to our website to get on the list. We’re adding in some fun gifts and race kits to some early customers. www.everydayathlete.co

I think that’s what’s often labelled as “luck”.
