My three key takeaways from the 26th Continuous Innovation Network (CINet) conference on "Bridging Deep Tech and People-Centric Innovation" 1. 💡 AI’s role in innovation is rapidly expanding, but for now, it’s mostly concentrated on ideation and idea generation. Human input remains essential, especially in goal setting, selection, and evaluation. 2. ↔️ Bridging deep tech with human-centered innovation is more important than ever. In many cases, there’s still a tendency to fall in love with technology and search for problems, rather than starting from real needs. 3. 🎯 Many organizations still lack a clear innovation strategy. This isn’t just an academic observation. It points to a real gap and an opportunity for practical impact. Over two days of rich discussions and presentations, these themes came up again and again. Rapid technological advancement is only part of the equation. Aligning it with coherent strategy and real-world human needs is what ultimately drives meaningful innovation.
