Bidirectional charging (#V2G, #V2H, #V2X) is emerging as a key technology to turn #EVs from pure consumers into active grid assets, offering new flexibility to balance renewable-heavy power systems. But what does it take to make this work — technically, economically, and from a regulatory standpoint? At the 9th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium, taking place on 6–7 October 2025 in #Berlin, four dedicated sessions will dive deep into: 🔹Real-world tests and field projects with bidirectional fleets 🔹Scalable architectures and communication interfaces between EVs, chargers, grid operators & aggregators 🔹Interoperability, standardization and Power Hardware-in-the-Loop testing frameworks 🔹Flexible connection agreements, equitable grid fees & §14a EnWG incentives 🔹The role of V2G in frequency containment and ancillary services 🔹Customer perspectives and business models — is it truly worth it? Industry experts from BMW Group, Mercedes-Benz AG, E.ON, Bayernwerk, TransnetBW GmbH, Eurelectric, DLR, FfE, Technische Universität Dresden and many more will present cutting-edge research, case studies and implementation strategies. Batteries and their integration into vehicles is one of the fastest developing system in vehicles. Prices per kWh dropped by 90% in only 20 years, Mass of concepts have been developed, performance and lifetime are far better than years before, philosophical questions have arisen regarding battery integration that have not yet been answered conclusively. Cell chemistry, structures, and performance are further issues that will be decisive in setting the course for future vehicle development. It is therefore well worth attending the presentation of Ouiza LAOUISSET from A2MAC1 - Decode the future—at the IAA MOBILITY, of course.

The U.S. Must Lead the EV Charging Revolution, Not Trail It EV adoption is surging globally. The real race is in infrastructure. Right now, the U.S. is falling behind. -China: 3.3M public chargers (2024) -EU: 1M chargers, with AFIR mandating ultra-fast stations every 60 km -U.S.: 200K chargers. Progressing, but not fast enough. Other regions are pushing aggressive policies. They are investing in ultra-fast, grid-smart infrastructure. The U.S. risks losing its edge. We need to move faster, smarter, and with greater technical ambition. At viveEV, we build the infrastructure that can help the U.S. compete and lead. -TRON 600A FCDC: ultra-fast charging for high-demand corridors -Dynamic load management for grid efficiency -Engineered with U.S.–Korea collaboration for global reliability -Designed for performance, inside and out We align with the highest international benchmarks and bring 20 years of engineering excellence to every install. The future of EV charging is fast, resilient, and intelligent. viveEV is ready to deliver. Let’s make sure the U.S. is not just part of the EV future. Let’s make sure it is leading it. #EVCharging #viveEV #InfrastructureLeadership #CleanTech #GlobalMobility #Sustainability
