I’ve had private conversations with financial advisors nearly every day for the past ten years. Here are 3 things I’ve realized… 1. There are lots of financial advisors who talk a big game online who are secretly desperate and broke. 2. There are financial advisors crushing it (making $1 million or more per year) and you’d never guess because their businesses aren’t flashy. 3. Financial advisors in the middle (making a few hundred grand per year) fall into two categories. Either they think they’re big shots who know everything so they coast or they’re hungry for more knowledge and growth. There’s really no in-between.
