I may have moved back to the Bay, but there’s something magical about New York in September! I'm excited to be back to my old stomping grounds for New York Climate Week (NYCW) in less than two weeks. Here are a few things on my calendar I’m especially looking forward to: 🏛️ Speaking at Columbia Business School: I'm honored to be a panelist at my alma mater, where I'll discuss the evolution of climate investing and the impact of emerging policy in a conversation moderated by my former professor, Bruce Usher. His courses and advice were instrumental in shaping my entry into this critical and rapidly evolving sector, and I'm thrilled to come back to campus for this. 🍽️ Climate Founders Dinner: I'm co-hosting an intimate dinner for founders alongside Union Square Ventures, Collaborative Fund, and B Capital. We still have a few spots open for early-stage climate founders building companies in NYC. If you know anyone who should be at the table, please send me a note! 🎉 50x2050 Breakfast: Our first ever event celebrating our annual roundup of companies driving meaningful carbon reduction by mid-century alongside Silicon Valley Bank. The list will be launched next week, just ahead of NYCW, and will include some returning standouts, fresh names, and a few surprises. Stay tuned for more! If you'll also be running all over city 🚇, please reach out to connect! I can't wait to meet new founders (the lifeblood of what we do) and trade notes with other investors across all stages and asset classes 🤝
