Any story can be told. Not every story can be sold. I connect storytelling with selling. I build powerful brands for purposeful businesses.

Today I attended a local #AI bootcamp workshop led by Thanh Pham and all I can say is, DO IT! It’s the best money I’ve spent on myself all year for my business and in marketing/brand skills, and I cannot recommend it enough. When Lauren Kuchta told me about it two days ago, there was one spot that had opened and my gut immediately said yes. I cleared my calender and signed up. I had been seeking guidance from incredible brand leaders and friends like Carl Loeb Paul D'Arcy Ash Robinson, PCC, OMG, LOL, and this workshop has only made me more hungry to learn. In my workflow, I’ve started to implement more AI in the past several months, but knew I needed the next push to move from AI-assisted functions to more sophisticated ability with AI workflow. Today, we did 6 sessions across categories such as prompts, deep research, workflow, cross-functionality, AI agents, and even creating an App and video. I ended up with a Strava -integrated Triathlon Photo Finisher app that integrates your finish line pic with stats and averages from other races, and a video of me surfing a 20 ft wave in Hawaii! I also tackled a real-life work task today using #Lindy 🤯 If you are a marketer / real estate agent / business owner and do research, SWOT analysis, ghostwriting, copywriting, project management, etc., this workshop is for you. Feel free to comment here and I’m happy to put you in touch with the organizers. Grateful to be growing and thankful for the opportunity to also push myself to the next level! So many takeaways for myself, colleagues and clients. As always, two caveats: 1) How do we maintain caution with #AI in storytelling and human-centered brand work, automated content and messaging that can never replace real-life tone, voice, and communication? This is a constant dichotomy 2) AI data centers = massive water cooling = water use = sustainability issues and footprint. We have to continually understand that water conservation goes well beyond the daily uses we think of, and directly connects to every time we plug something into ChatGPT. Food for thought on a Friday!

Good seeing you at the workshop! Can't wait to see what AI agents you build out!

Thank you for the kind words. It's amazing to see how fast you implemented everything I went over! Love it.

This sounds amazing, Emily J.. So many of us have the aptitude to do amazing things with AI if someone can just show us where and how to get started. I love how energized you are! Also, your two big caveats. I don’t have an answer for sustainability. The risk of getting left behind by a changing world manifests from opposite directions here. As for storytelling: for now, at least, this is a human job. If you have something that’s not worth the sweat and toil of writing (or leading the AI collaboration), you don’t have anything of value. My 2 cents.
