Day 7 of our #MCPAugust: Chat with your shop's search
🫨 DEMO DAY - Backroom agent 🫨
Today we explore how Backroom integrates MCP into the full user experience. The assistant doesn’t just give results, it shows its process in real time, step by step, so users can see exactly how insights are built.
Whether it’s top products by clicks, add-to-cart, or conversion rate, the output adapts dynamically. No hardcoding, no static dashboards: just flexible responses that reflect intent.
What’s next:
💬 Make the agent conversational, so you can ask follow-ups on results.
📊 Add generative graphs for visual insights.
🌐 Deploy across environments for real-world release.
The goal: understanding metrics should be simple, useful, and natural. Even without technical expertise. And it's only the beginning.

Here you can see the background space. The chat board are integrated with the Baron experience. If you can't talk with the agent, you only need to put 2 points. You have these landing with some examples or recommendation of questions. So for example, if we want to know the metric for specific product, we can sell it. In this example we know that the it's a rotating the steps and now we have the first step, then we have the second. Because this is dynamically and in real time, it's very important for the user to understand how the back is working. Well, the steps finish, we see the response for symbol. In this case there are summary with the two products with ID and the clicks are two cars and conversion rate of the product. Aims and gays maybe we only have the Greeks or the clicks are not two cars, but this is dynamically and the front adapts to the response. There aren't nothing hard code for symbol. If I try with other questions, we have a different response because the I understand the intent of the user. This is very powerful to have different metrics and different response and to be dynamically with the user. We have steps and overall we. All the metrics of the socks we have the top products by clicks via 2 Carson by commercial rate and an insight or the response of the user. We have a lot of examples with differing intents, but the important things is that it's a way to understand the metrics on a simple format. Because the user doesn't need to have a technical experience, is more useful. The last example the same, we have the steps. That are different in each question. For each step we have some data, for example the output of these steps. In the other steps we have the output and the arguments. We can copy this data if the merchant wanted. And if you don't want to see the data, you can close the more data. Here for example you can see the best products. We had two cars. No, I want to talk to you about next steps. The first one is make this experience more conversational. Meaning that the user can engage in a dialogue with the agent and ask questions about their response. We provide for simple. If I am in this chat, maybe I want to show you now, tell me the items with the most clicks personally and you can have a conversation with the IoT. We also want to work on adding a generative graphs so that the spirits become even more visual along with other improvements in the interface. And additionally, the vacant team will be working on deploying this in different environments so we can connect with the service, release the first versions as soon as possible. And finally, this is still a work in progress, so if you have any idea or suggestions are more than welcome.
I genuinely think this will change so much. It's so cool to be able to chat with your analytics. Pull out your phone and type in a few questions that are on your mind. Get the answers you want. No fluff. That's powerful.
E-commerce leaders, the lack of actionable data on new visitor behavior often leaves teams guessing about navigation patterns and engagement—leading to missed conversions. Tools like heatmaps and scroll maps from Hotjar reveal where visitors click and drop off, while session recordings in Microsoft Clarity uncover real-time interactions to optimize CTAs. Combining these with surveys via UserFeedback dives deeper into intent, enabling personalization that boosts user experience and uncovers hidden opportunities.
But imagine automating it all with AI precision. Sortext, your virtual sales assistant, analyzes 20+ anonymous behavioral parameters—like dwell time and page flows—to instantly detect spending capacity and purchase likelihood. When a new visitor's conversion probability hits zero, it deploys tailored, time-limited offers exceeding their expected spend by 20-30%, doubling first-time conversions and elevating average order values by 15-20%.
Bridge the data gap to revenue recovery effortlessly. 📊🎯 What's your favorite visitor tracking method? Share below!

⚡Building Smart Tools with Airtable ⚡
In our live build series, we explored how to set up an airtable base for capturing and managing property data.
Inside airtable (free tier), you can:
-> Create tables (we started with one called Waitlist)
-> Add new tables from scratch
-> Import data from Google Sheets, Excel or even Google Calendar
For our demo, we spun up a new table. From here, it becomes the foundation for connecting data, running workflows and powering automations.
💡 Why Airtable? Because it’s flexible, easy to set up and plays nicely with tools like n8n or Make.
You can use it as your own CRM or as a clean hub for all your property info before the automation kicks in.
This is how you move from scattered spreadsheets to structured systems.

Most leaders don’t realize that every #CustomerJourney — across devices, channels, and touchpoints — looks fragmented until you stitch the data together. Ignore “#DataStitching” and you’re flying blind, optimizing for metrics that don’t reflect reality.
Before betting big on dashboards or AI, ask if the foundation is solid. Stitching reveals the truth about which channels drive revenue and how customers actually convert. Without it, the story is broken—and so is the strategy.
Thinking stitching is “just technical” could cost millions. Want the real outcomes? Start with the data, not the dashboards.

When thinking about your customers and your revenue, this short sentence explains is all:
"Margin keeps the lights on. CUSTOMER LIFETIME VALUE (CLV) builds the future."
Have a look at the details below and there's a huge chance your current approach to this topic will change for ever.
Margin keeps the lights on. CLV builds the future. 🚀
Margins show the profit from a single transaction. They’re useful—but short-term. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) takes the bigger picture: it measures the total value a customer brings over time.
Businesses that focus on CLV:
✅ Understand their most valuable customers
✅ Invest smarter in retention and loyalty
✅ Drive sustainable growth, not just short-term wins
👉 Margin matters, but CLV drives the future.
AI Customer Intelligence for Business Central gives you CLV insights—available on Microsoft AppSource.
