Hi, my name is Ryan Diaz and I'm Associate Mechanical Engineer here at Enercon. I've recently had the opportunity to work on a project that focuses on renewable energy, specifically focusing on geothermal energy. This geothermal project is specifically unique because we don't see that your term of being used much. So geothermal is definitely a new Ave. that is being explored to kind of look into a new ways of making new energy specific, especially with all the data centers coming up, So looking into new, new avenues. To make power is definitely beneficial. It's great to be able to give him the trust to work on a project of this magnitude, especially just starting out, being given the trust and encouraged the innovative trying new things. You know, make a mistake here and there, but learn along the way and just improve upon what I learned back in school and actually put it to the test and work on our world problem. I'm from Texas. I graduated from Texas A&MI got my Bachelors of mechanical Engineering and I graduated last December. During my time in school, I especially my last few semesters, I learned that was passionate about the energy sector. I came across intercom. It was definitely interesting to learn how they birds they are it It gave me the sense that my work will never be boring or dull would be challenged and that was kind of something I was really looking for moving so far from home. Definitely a charge of first, but everybody here at the company is very welcoming and very helpful, both work related and non work related and I it was definitely a great decision and haven't looked back since. My favorite part about working here at Icon is kind of being able to challenge myself, being able to give a like burst set of challenges. Every day is different. It always keeps things interesting. I also really like that they're willing to invest back on their employees. I've been encouraged to keep developing myself as a professional engineer. They've they've helped me register for my Fe classes and help me prepare for my exam. Definitely feels great being recognized by your peers, especially being new at company, I have those unexpected. And the different encourages me to do my best moving forward.
