I love this take considering more ways that AI can make in-house effective--beyond even what the vendor has promised.

As CEO of an enterprise committed to maximizing both efficiency and effectiveness across every function, I was struck by the strategic clarity in this article. It aligns directly with our vision of AI not merely as a tool—but as an essential partner in enhancing our General Counsel’s office and beyond. The true brilliance of this piece lies in how it frames AI as a force multiplier—not just for legal teams but enterprise-wide. Where our General Counsel functions as my “go‑to counsel,” AI can enhance their capacity to advise strategically, surfacing regulatory insight, accelerating internal communications, and enabling proactive risk management. This isn’t just support—it’s capability amplification.

The idea of “off-label” AI uses is so interesting, especially combined with the possibility to expand Legal’s remit and accomplish tasks previously handled by other functions. I’d be curious to hear more about that, and how Legal teams can spot such opportunities.

Inspiring series, Eric! Can’t wait for the next installment and kudos to you for employing this tool so effectively!
