City of Forney’s Post

In case you missed it, EVO Entertainment is coming to Forney! Last month, the Forney City Council approved an Economic Incentive and Performance Agreement between the Forney Economic Development Corporation and Forney Legacy Holdings, LLC. As part of this agreement, Forney Legacy Holdings will develop and operate a minimum of 75,000 square feet of theater and entertainment space within the Village at Gateway, located at Highway 80 and North Gateway Boulevard. The venue, EVO Entertainment, will feature a 9-Screen State of the Art Cinema featuring both IMAX® and EVX® with Dolby Atmos®, a 22-Lane bowling alley, over 15,000 square feet of gaming and attractions like laser tag and rock climbing, private event and conference space, and a full service restaurant and bar, bringing a world-class entertainment destination to the Forney community. EVO Entertainment will join Target, H-E-B, and Home Depot as one of the anchor tenants in the 152-acre Village at Gateway mixed-use development. "Our family’s roots run deeply through this community, and we are thrilled at the chance to build on that history with a beautiful facility that families from all around can enjoy for generations to come," Mitch Roberts, CEO and founder of EEG, said in a statement. "We are sincerely grateful for the City’s collaboration and partnership.” “This is a fantastic addition to our city,” said Mayor Jason Roberson. “Our community has been eager for more family-friendly entertainment, and this project not only delivers but also helps keep tax dollars right here in Forney.” For more information about EVO Entertainment, visit: https://lnkd.in/gaK94a5w
