Based on a review of body-worn camera videos, the Monitor found 13 Terry stops, which require a stop report, that had been classified as Level 2 encounters, for which stop reports are optional. P&HCC has received two grants to support surveillance camera upgrades on campus. P&HCC received $47,149 for surveillance camera upgrades from Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services and $10,000 from the Virginia Help Eliminate Auto Theft Fund to purchase surveillance cameras. “Not only will this enhance the security and safety of P&HCC's campus, but it will also boost the security of the service region and allow the campus to assist law enforcement in the city of Martinsville and Henry County, Virginia.
