I’m thrilled to share 2 major updates: I’ve joined as Founding Head of Growth at Olira and we’ve raised a pre-seed from Precursor Ventures, Dria Ventures, Black Tech Nation Ventures, and Plug and Play Tech Center, in addition to leading angel investors Jeff Dean and Jonathan Frankle. Our advisors include Mark Fleming, Christopher Potts, and Toby Eduardo Redshaw. After graduating from Columbia Business School in May and investing at Bowery Capital (previously MetaProp), I was immediately drawn to our mission - to provide insights without the noise and support without the burden. Bridging machine learning and clinical science, we use digital phenotyping to analyze passive sensor data and active voice/text interactions - supercharging providers’ decisions through a real-time, continually compounding picture of each patient’s health, while delivering personalized support to patients along their journey. Olira’s support layer starts with the device patients already own: their smartphone. Our application transforms continuous, functional data into insights that seamlessly and safely integrate into workflows, capturing the complete patient story between visits and driving actionable, clinical intelligence for providers. It’s simple, secure, and scalable. Novel therapies require stricter monitoring for patients experiencing chronic conditions - we’re here to support.
