Driving the fastest, most powerful Corvette ever made on the iconic Circuit of The Americas last week with our team and members of the media was just a tremendous thrill. The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 delivers 1,064hp of pure American engineering – hand-built at our Bowling Green Assembly Plant in Kentucky. Mentoring our vehicle development engineers is one of my most important jobs at GM, and to be in Austin to see their program come to life was an experience I will not forget!
Father's Day gift perhaps?
Well done

2moI retired from GM Wentzville. While in Oklahoma City, I worked on the P90 project. (Chevy Malibu and Olds Cutlass) I worked in Lansing MI. Teaching practical experience to engineering departments. I led a group of 8 men and women focused on the Chassis Dept I have experience in special projects as I had the respect of Management and the Union. I started out as an absentee replacement, trainer, team leader, and liaison between The Key 4 at GM OKC and engineers at Lansing Tech Center. I am only 67, GM is in my blood. Do you have a management position where I would fit? My job is to take good teams and make them better. I would be interested in new product development or any other Innovative creations GM has to offer. Thank you. Tom Luechtefeld luckytomthepirate@gmail.com
