1mo📌Before settling on “Vistiq,” Cadillac originally intended to name the vehicle Symboliq. General Motors even filed a trademark for it back in 2020. The name aligned with Cadillac’s EV naming convention (ending in “-iq”) and was meant to evoke a sense of futuristic symbolism. However, GM abandoned the Symboliq trademark in 2021 for no apparent reason. A few months later, they filed for the name Vistiq, which ultimately stuck. So what Does “Vistiq” Suggest? While Cadillac hasn’t officially explained the meaning, “Vistiq” likely draws from the word “vista” - suggesting expansive views, forward vision, and luxury travel. The “-iq” suffix ties it to Cadillac’s electric lineup
