No better way to celebrate #internationalwomensday than by the side of my mother, Mangala Narlikar. She is easily the most inspiring woman in my life. A brilliant mathematician (could easily solve those tricky JEE problems), a skilled artist (whether portraits or backdrops for our dances and plays), a creative cook (my childhood friends still remember her effortless cupcakes), an expert gardener and plant lover (I can never keep up with all those varieties of flowers and trees!). She also manages to work tirelessly to improve the lives of the less fortunate. And is now fearlessly fighting her fourth battle with cancer.
