🔧 Meet Stanford University’s Team Neolens: James Leo and Ostap Korkuna. With backgrounds in military operations, product development, and startup innovation, they joined #H4D to solve a critical problem affecting U.S. military readiness across global theaters. Partnering with United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), Team Neolens tackled the challenge of maintaining and repairing U.S.-made military vehicles in the field—where trained mechanics are few, manuals are cumbersome, and time is short. Through 211 interviews across two quarters, the team uncovered a gap not only in training, but in data—preventing strategic leaders from making informed logistics decisions. Their solution? A field-ready, AI-powered troubleshooting tool that helps undertrained operators fix vehicles, order parts, and capture real-time maintenance data. Built to be “aggressively helpful,” the first prototype was delivered to a Ukrainian mechanic in the middle of a war zone—just 24 hours after he messaged the team for help. 🔗 Read their full story here: https://lnkd.in/eB-Hq5fC #HackingForDefense #H4DTeamSuccess #AIforLogistics #DefenseInnovation #StanfordH4D #TeamNeolens #MissionDrivenTech
