🛰️ From a university lab in Vilnius to building one of Europe’s largest satellite orders. In 2014, a group of engineers at Vilnius University launched one of Lithuania’s first-ever satellites. That project sparked the founding of Kongsberg NanoAvionics. A space-tech company that’s now designing small satellite buses and delivering end-to-end missions for NASA, MIT, Thales Alenia Space and others. In 2022, NanoAvionics joined forces with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. Just three years later, it secured a €122.5M contract to build 280 satellites for SpinLaunch - one of Europe’s largest satellite manufacturing orders to date.
