Ever thought about how mixed-use developments can breathe new life into urban areas? The San Francisco Flower Market project is a testament to this. It’s about more than just construction; it’s about revitalization. In my journey, I’ve seen how these projects transform neighborhoods. Key insights: - Balance: Integrate residential, commercial, and public spaces thoughtfully. Each must complement the other. - Sustainability: Incorporate green practices. It’s not just good for the planet; it’s good for business. - Economic Boost: These developments create jobs and stimulate local economies. What’s your take on the future of urban spaces? #SustainableDevelopment #CommunityBuilding

Urban Kibbutz – Affordable Housing Allot of metropolis cities are facing similar housing challenges: soaring real-estate prices, deepening social gaps, rental market instability, and unequal access to opportunities. These realities push us to rethink the standard housing model. We are launching a four-part hybrid PechaKucha series exploring metropolitan housing challenges. Experts and thought leaders from both cities Tel Aviv and Frankfurt will present cases, exchange ideas, and examine architectural solutions, community-driven housing models, and innovative financing. The opening event introduces the core themes of community housing, drawing inspiration from the spirit of the kibbutz: shared infrastructure, democratic governance, and sustainable urban living. Israeli and European perspectives will be presented side by side, highlighting practical models that could be applied in both cities. Our goal is to go beyond academic discussion and build a truly bilateral initiative, culminating in an open public debate and concrete implementation in both Tel Aviv-Yafo and Frankfurt. Join us in shaping new approaches to urban housing that balance heritage and innovation while addressing the urgent social and economic challenges of today’s cities. URBAN KIBBUTZ 17. September – 19:00 CET We will be live at the DAM in Frankfurt and in the Liebling Haus in TLV, also in a hybrid version https://lnkd.in/dNyEKB5n https://lnkd.in/dKAitBiR #LieblingHaus #DAM #Frankfurt #TelAvivYafo #MarcusGwechenberger#UrbanHousing #AffordableHousing #CommunityHousing #TwinCities
