One of the most challenging aspects of defending against advanced persistent threats (APTs) is their patience. These attackers slip in quietly, establish persistence, and move laterally over time. By the time they’re discovered, the damage is often done. Defending against APTs requires more than point tools. It comes down to architecture, protecting identity, monitoring across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and gaining real visibility into east-west traffic. I recently shared more of my perspective in a piece with VMblog. You can read it here: https://lnkd.in/gfyYwQtB I’d love to hear how others are seeing this evolve. Where do you think attackers are shifting their tactics most today? #CyberSecurity #CISO #APT #CloudSecurity #ThreatDetection #CloudNetworkSecurity #Aviatrix
It's a joy to read such a superb analysis, John. "Visibility gap" in edge infrastructure really resonates. Great to see security leadership driving these conversations with such technical depth.
