The The Hacker News just reported that researchers tricked AI-powered browsers into following malicious instructions hidden in web pages — leading to data theft, unauthorized actions, and manipulated outputs. "When your browser becomes an AI agent, every webpage is a potential attack vector" This is the next evolution of prompt injection: no phishing link to click, no shady extension to install.
