Congrats, Kaj Hagros, Timo Ketonen, and everyone else involved! 🙌 We as humans have exploited the world's oceans for over 100 years, and almost ruined the Baltic Sea with runoffs from agriculture and forestry. It's time to turn this around, and besides conservation efforts, new innovations and technology is the key to heal the oceans. Blue Economy is already worth over €2 trillion, and we hope to see innovative startups to grow to massive scale, while helping to save our seas. A great example of such startups is Origin by Ocean – I recommend to follow it, if this cause is important for you! Link in the comments, article behind a paywall.
I might have gotten a bit excited about this news - and seems that others are as well: this post alone has already reached over 7000 people and gotten over 10k impressions on LinkedIn✌️ Don’t forget to follow Redstone, APelago, and Origin by Ocean – as well as San Francisco Agency, the usual suspect behind impactful startup and funding PR.
Well done Kaj Hagros and excellent news.
Love it!
Thank you for sharing the news! We at Aboa Advest are happy to be an anchor investor in the first Blue VC fund in the Baltic Sea region and beyond. We hope many family offices will join us as investors in this impactful fund.
