OFFER ACCEPTED! First interview: November 17 Final interview: December 3 Offer extended & accepted: December 8 21 days from recruiter screen to offer! For a 6-figure Sr Project Manager role! When you have a fire team, a fire client, and a fire candidate - MAGIC HAPPENS!

Slow tbh. I remember when I could get a screen on Monday, offer by Thursday, and start date for Monday on six figures. The Stockholm's syndrome of this market is real

Is this supposed to be a brag??? "When you have a fire team, a fire client, and a fire candidate" -- it shouldn't take you 21 days to pull the trigger.

If only this were even remotely the norm

This is how it should occur. Not 2-6 rounds of interviews and an assessment. One to two interviews maximum.

The sad thing is when I started my career, even this would seem lengthy, it was usually 1 week max. Now, 21 days seems like lightning and it shouldn’t.

I love it when teams move quickly like this (my quickest turnaround was 8 days from screen to offer, it could have been 14 days screen-> start date, but holidays!). Especially in today's economy, so much talent is ready and available to bring huge value to the companies out there. They just need the right people to help them cut through the noise and decisively get the right people in ASAP.

The interview process shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks. If you know who you want, you know who you want.

I wish this type of magic could happen for many others.

Why isnt this happening to others? They have been out 6-24 months and counting! what gives
