One of the first steps in troubleshooting Wi-Fi is to figure out is it Wired or Wireless... or perhaps both? Here are a couple of things to look into, think about, and realize which are wired, and which are wireless?

This is a great example of what to check. Lots of pieces to look at. If its a single user issue then I always start at the client and move up the OSI model.
