Landon Phillips’ Post

This summer I had the privilege to return for a second summer internship at The TJX Companies, Inc. as a Planning and Allocations Intern for the Men's Sportswear team. It was an amazing experience, in which I directed the shipping strategy and aimed to select the optimal product mix for Marshall's stores nationwide. This role gave me the opportunity to strengthen my skills in data analysis, trend recognition, strategic planning, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. On top of that, my time at TJX deepened my understanding of the fact that collaboration and adaptability, not only in the retail industry but in general, are key factors to success in the professional world. Working with such amazing people truly made the summer special, so I'd like to thank Zac Fayan, Nick Wignot, Maria Alexopoulos, Diana Regan, Danielle Edmonds, and the rest of the Men's Sportswear team on the TJ Maxx side for being so welcoming right from the start! I'm thankful to have made such impactful connections and learn so much in my two summers at TJX, and I'm now looking forward to my senior year at Clemson University!
