Offers > Ads Ads can’t save a weak offer. One brand I worked with was running “10% off” and wondering why nothing moved. We scrapped it. Reframed the offer → “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” + bundle positioning. Same ad spend. 40% higher AOV. The ads didn’t suddenly get better. The offer did. Your offer is the foundation. Ads only amplify what’s already there.

If all of your advertising reference points are other ad campaigns, then you're doomed to repeat/emulate what's already out there. And what's already out there doesn't - in general - work...or there wouldn't be a need for companies to keep producing more of it. The stuff that gets noticed is different. And different comes from other sources outside of advertising.
