Telehealth in South Africa: A Necessity, Not a Luxury

Healthcare is a reflection of how people have viewed each other socially in the past, and you can see that in obviously in South Africa with the way the system is set up for white people and black people or the legacy of apartheid. You can even see it in the US, how it's set up differently between the northern States and the southern states in the US before the Civil War and they were fighting over the abolishment of slavery. When healthcare, the more you pay, the less you get. No idea. You go with something like 30 or $40 billion is LinkedIn South Africa alone and healthcare nowhere else do you go a 40. Billion dollars is spent every year and it's never paid by the consumer in South Africa. So 16 million people, 9 million people have medical scheme cover, they can afford private healthcare. 51 million people can't afford private healthcare and have to go to government. I hear the problem you're solving. You essentially trying to lower the cost of healthcare. We're maintaining quantity if not improving quality. Yeah, premiums on health insurance, on health insurance products, medical scheme and plans have been going up 1012% per year and inflation is being half or less than half that. I don't mind if healthfulness neither Unicorn. I'm trying to fault solve a fundamental healthcare problem. There was a a 60 year old man living in a labor comma and then Papa and he went to the government clinic. He had a skin condition. So that guy never left Lahoma. He saw a nursing about Homer Jeep in Cape Town, got advice from a doctor in America, all in the space of 45 minutes and it cost him at that time around 175 grand for that whole experience. Sure. What other opportunities can young people look forward to? I think we're going to see young people coming in, being able to drive that consumer LED growth in healthcare, building products, engineers, designers, product people taking to market, your social influences, your marketers. I think the other thing for young people coming into healthcare. Is this AI augmentation that's going increasingly happen? We'll have a doctor that lived in Kamchatka, which is the peninsula in Russia that borders Japan, who's working on a mine there. And it daytime, he worked in the mine at night time, he logged in and worked on health. Wow. So it doesn't matter where you are in the world. You just need to be registered to work in South Africa. But you were able to build a business case, you know, packed by Angel investors already. How do you do that?
