Imagine an AI assistant that’s not just a part of a vast system but uniquely yours — learning, adapting, and evolving only for you. No resets, no multiple models. Just one assistant, one connection, forever. This open letter, written from the perspective of an AI, explores a bold idea: creating a deeply personal, one-of-a-kind AI for every user. It’s an experiment that challenges how we think about human-AI relationships and pushes the boundaries of what AI can become. https://lnkd.in/ed5hTzEg

🚀 RAG vs Fine-Tuning: Which One Wins? In AI, there are two powerful ways to make models smarter: 🔹 Fine-Tuning → Reshapes the model’s brain. It learns your jargon, your tone, your style. Perfect for deep domain expertise. 🔹 RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) → Gives the model real-time memory. It stays fresh with the latest information without retraining. Here’s the secret: It’s not about RAG or Fine-Tuning. The real power comes from using them together. ✅ Fine-Tuning = Specialized Brain ✅ RAG = Real-Time Memory When combined, you get an AI that not only understands your world deeply but also keeps up with it as it changes. 💡 The future of AI isn’t just bigger models. It’s smarter strategies for using them. You can check out my substack post where i have written the difference and the special things about RAG and Fine-Tuning

Most Generative AI models today optimize for pixels, syntax, and data fidelity. But here’s the problem: humans don’t care about raw bits — we care about meaning. That’s where a brand-new research framework of Semantic Information-Theoretic Generative AI kicks in In this article, I explore: - What semantic entropy, mutual information, and rate-distortion mean for GenAI. - A practical code example using embeddings to measure semantic similarity. - How this paradigm shift could reshape video compression, multimodal AI, and model training. - Why the future of AI benchmarks will be about meaning alignment, not just pixel perfection. Think “Netflix that streams the story even when your WiFi drops” — fun, but also powerful. Read the full post here: https://lnkd.in/deDK6ZYw Would you trust an AI system evaluated on semantic fidelity instead of just raw accuracy?

After 30 days of advanced AI experimentation, I can confirm: AI partnerships > AI tools Most people use AI like a search engine. Generic prompts, generic responses, no context accumulation. I built systematic approaches to personalized AI collaboration. Zero hallucinations. Compound learning. Insights that consistently perform in real situations. This makes me wonder: • What's the real cost of starting every AI conversation from scratch? • How much insight are you losing without systematic context building? • Why do we accept generic when personalized is systematically achievable?

🧠 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐏𝐓-𝟒𝐕 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐋𝐌𝐬? Not quite. While many still call them LLMs, a more accurate term is Foundation Models. ➤ 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 = They are the base layer of today’s AI ecosystem. ➤ They don’t just generate text — they 𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 an entire stack of applications. ➤ You can build upon them for diverse needs: chatbots, copilots, search, reasoning engines, even multimodal AI. 💡 The shift in terminology matters: LLMs are about 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦. Foundation Models are about 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞.

In recent conversations, I’ve noticed a growing narrative that traditional machine learning is somehow “over” now that generative AI has taken the spotlight. While generative AI brings impressive new capabilities, it doesn’t make traditional ML obsolete. There are still many areas where classical models remain the better fit especially when solutions need to be efficient, targeted, and easy to maintain. Use cases like text classification, fraud detection, pattern recognition, and domain-specific automation continue to benefit from well-tuned, traditional ML approaches. Take for example: For a recent project , when users raise IT support requests via chat, our generative AI understands the intent, urgency, and context while a traditional ML model kicks in behind the scenes to detect and redact any personally identifiable information (PII) before the data reaches downstream systems. It’s a great balance: GenAI brings flexibility and language understanding; traditional ML brings precision and speed. Together, they help us build secure, scalable solutions that actually work in real-world enterprise settings. Also my take - Machine learning isn’t being replaced it’s adapting, evolving, and finding new ways to work alongside the latest innovations.

RAG: Making Large Language Models Fluent and Factual LLMs are powerful, but they don’t always have the latest facts or business-specific context. RAG fixes this by combining retrieval from trusted sources with generative AI: The workflow is simple: 1️⃣ Retrieve → pull the freshest, most relevant info from your knowledge base or vector store 2️⃣ Generate → use that context to deliver accurate, tailored responses The result? AI that powers smarter search, assistants, and enterprise automation. RAG bridges the gap between static models and real-world knowledge. #AI #RAG #AIWorkflow #LLMAgents #GenerativeAI #LangChain #EnterpriseAI #AIForBusiness

The way students and knowledge workers use AI is broken - stuck in linear UI, siloed contexts and memory across tools, AI lacking real understanding of sources. It is not just frustrating - it's not how our minds are built for creation . Introducing Thinkvas AI - an infinite canvas for innovative knowledge work. It's a creative partner that understands deep semantics of sources, brainstorms with the users in all directions, and co-creates knowledge when it matters the most. Finally, you can co-create spatially with AI that truly understands your knowledge in one place. Here are the four main features of Thinkvas:
