I am deeply proud of the exceptional work carried out everyday by our team at the Mater Hospital and it is especially rewarding to see their commitment recognised through our nominations at this year’s Irish Healthcare Awards. The Mater Hospital has been shortlisted in four categories: - Hospital Project of the Year: An investigation of the effectiveness of Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) meetings in an Irish teaching hospital - Best Use of Digital Health & IT: Implementation of quality assurance & equipment management software in radiology - Innovation in Healthcare and Medicine: Establishing the first AI Centre in an Irish healthcare setting - Healthcare Education Event of the Year: ESHG Precision Genomic Medicine Hybrid Workshop These projects reflect the innovation, expertise and dedication of our teams across the hospital.
