Day 2 of the SAKSHAM Capacity Building Program for Incubators (in partnership with STPI) focused on deepening the understanding of startup growth and corporate collaboration. The day began with an inspiring session on the future of emerging industries, setting the stage for conversations on shareholding and equity frameworks — spanning investment instruments, rights and restrictions, exit mechanisms, compliance, and governance practices. These discussions provided incubators with the knowledge to better guide startups through the complex landscape of equity and legal readiness. The program then shifted towards corporate–startup collaboration, exploring why corporates engage with startups and how incubators can bridge innovation needs. Practical frameworks on pilots, joint ventures, co-development models, as well as matchmaking and monitoring tools, offered participants actionable strategies to foster impactful partnerships.
