Last week we hosted our inaugural global team onsite for the Platforms & Devices Marketing organization and my mind is still buzzing from the energy and insights shared. We spoke a lot about this transformative era – something we’re calling The Golden Age Of Marketing – where AI is not just a tool, but a catalyst for unprecedented speed and creativity. Our sessions reinforced a powerful truth: the pace of AI innovation is exponential, and it’s drastically raising the bar on what success looks like for marketers.  I had the pleasure of leading a session, called Meeting the Moment, and shared a few key learnings and mindset shifts that resonated with the audience: 💡 Embrace the "Lean-In Moment": This AI era will define our careers. My ask is that we all lean in, experiment fearlessly, and push boundaries. 💼 Think Like Owners, Prevent "LaFufu": We delved into how execution failures, our "LaFufus," can derail even the best ideas. The antidote? Deep scrutiny, personal ownership, and leveraging AI for quick, effective solutions, whether it's "vibe coding" new workflows or generating event designs.  🧠 Prioritize Well-being & Context: Intense effort is tough, but putting in that effort without a clear purpose is exhausting.  Leaders and individuals must foster psychological safety to discuss learnings and proactively manage burnout – sometimes that means knowing when to "leave loudly" and take needed time for recovery. Menaka (MK) Shroff very well said! love the experiment fearlessly and having a focused effort.  I actually think the real golden age isn’t just AI speed/scale, it’s that marketers finally have to think like owners. If you don’t own the outcome and cut through the LaFufu, AI just makes the mess bigger, faster.
