Ctrl 5 to strike through text Ctrl 4 to underline text Ctrl 3 to italicize text Ctrl 2 to make text bold and at number 1, by far the biggest time-saver: Ctrl 1 to open format cells. Text to Columns is useful! But only when the text in the cells follows the same structure. If you try to use Text to Columns to split names, you can run into problems. Sometimes a surname contains more than one name, and then Text to Columns will split the name into multiple columns instead of just two (first name and last name). So, we need to approach this differently. How? With very simple formulas: TEXTBEFORE and TEXTAFTER. Just select the cell, use the space as the delimiter, and you’re done. #Excel #Exceltip
