micro1's Research team in collaboration with Stanford Professors are coming together to share insights on their study, Better Together: Quantifying the Benefits of AI-Assisted Recruitment, in a live virtual event on Sep 24th, at 11am PST. In a randomized trial with 37,000 applicants, AI-led interviews surfaced hidden talent, reduced recruiter time by 44%, and improved candidate experience, showing how AI can elevate overlooked candidates while helping companies hire more effectively. Hear from the authors themselves - Ali Ansari (Founder, micro1), Nima Yazdani (Lead AI Researcher, micro1), and Stanford Professors Emil Palikot and Ada Aka - in a conversation moderated by Mark Esposito, PhD (Chief Economist, micro1) and Ava Fitoussy (Strategic Project Lead, micro1). Together, they’ll unpack the economic analysis, share key findings, and explore what it all means for the future of hiring. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gGXWPmnJ

Looking forward to the insights on AI in recruitment from the micro1 and Stanford collaboration.
Human interviewing is dreadfully subjective, inconsistent, and ultimately invalid (studies show little to no correlation with various job outcomes). Not to mention notorious danger of all kinds of interviewer biases that introduce elements of unfairness and discrimination into the selection processes. So, AI-based interviewing might become a badly needed solution to a critical personnel selection problem. These early results are already encouraging but I am sure AI-models and processes will improve relatively quickly. Likewise, candidates will be getting used on this new kind of selection processes, making their results more reliable and the whole process more efficient and fair. Exciting times ahead!
