I really like hanging out with the residents. It's fun. I like to hear their stories. They, they have some pretty awesome stories that that they can tell you and, and I just enjoy it. This, this was my calling. I am the activities director and the dietary manager. I do activities that I do feed them. So you know, those are the most important two things for them. O let's kind of nice that I'm in the kitchen, the heart of the home. So if my kitchen is fully staffed, then I just make sure that the mills are done on time, that, you know, everything's cleaned and stuff. The kitchen can pretty much run itself with the staff members that we have and I just help out if they need, you know, they need help cutting a roast in half or in slices or. Guidance on how to make a certain kind of cookie or something like that. Then I help them with that, but otherwise I'm on activities. All day long I have activities at 10:30 every day and at 2:00 every day. Well, I'm gonna make some funnel cakes for us to eat. One of my now stepdaughters used to do the activity director's position and I started volunteering because she also had a dance studio so I would help out when she had to be gone for dance competitions and or she just needed some extra help. Then I would come in and help her out. And then when she retired from here and wanted to do daycare and home, she asked me if I wanted to apply for the position and I said of course and. So I applied and got it right away. It's just so homey. We have great staff members. Everybody gets along. I enjoy my job, I love to come to work and I think that reflects back to the residents because if I love my job then I'm going to make it a happy place for them to live also.
