Sixty years ago today, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed into law, a monumental step toward ensuring every American, regardless of race or background, could exercise their right to vote. But today, that progress is under attack in Texas and other states across the country. We must act now to protect the promise of free and fair elections. Join us in urging Congress to fight for us. https://lnkd.in/g-2Q42QK

Protecting the right to vote isn’t just a moral imperative—it’s an economic one. As I wrote in my Financial Times byline, voter suppression erodes both democracy and prosperity. Sixty years after the Voting Rights Act, the fight continues—and so must our commitment to free and fair elections.

This administration is making the fight for equity and inclusion even more challenging. We must stay vigilant and take action to protect the promise of free and fair elections for everyone. Voting rights are civil rights — and they’re not negotiable.

This is a no-brainer. Free and equal participation in fair elections is the cornerstone of a liberal democratic system.

Very true, they are repressing all the civil rights gains in America led by President Donald Trump😡
