👓 With Meta announcing their new #smartglasses today, we thought we’d try our own novosound experiment during some downtime at the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, & Frequency Control Society (UFFC-S) Symposium in Utrecht. Instead of the wrist, Dr Manel Pelayo Garcia placed our ultrasound sensor next to the ear to see if we could capture blood pressure there. ✅ The result matched the cuff reading. It’s a simple test, but it shows just how flexible ultrasound can be for non-invasive monitoring. From wrists to ears (and beyond), the future of where and how we measure blood pressure is wide open.
