I've been visiting New York City during Climate Week for almost 15 years, since it was a distant side-show of the UN General Assembly. I go because it's a concentrated (and concentrating) chance to see people, speak, and learn. Every year it is different, with a new prime mover, so to speak. Policy is one of those, of course, and so is finance. But I think I am not alone in seeing AI as a prime mover this year - maybe the prime mover for those in energy, specifically. But, AI is quite conceptual, and it can feel very abstract in the context of world-scale challenges to be met. That is why I appreciate the chance to speak practically about what AI means for implementing business strategies, especially complex, long-dated strategies. I'm really looking forward to joining Suzanne DiBianca and Brennan Spellacy at Patch's Rebalance/Recharge executive retreat on September 22nd. Our conversation will be practical, about how AI is a key implementation for making energy and decarbonization data accessible, useful, and scalable. It will be about what works and what doesn't, and what we think (and hope) will work in the future. Knowing Brennan, it will be entertaining as well. #ClimateWeekNYC #AI #ClimateAction #EnergyTransition
Super excited to dive into practical applications for how AI can help fight the climate crisis. In a world where CSOs need to do more with less, LLMs can be a pressure release valve!
