As the Chief Human Resources Officer, I get to see first hand the excitement our annual intern program creates and the impact our interns have on New York life. I chose New York Life for my internship. This was 1997. My expectations were blown away. That summer culture and the people is what attracted me to New York Life. That's why I've stayed at one company for my whole career. We love the energy, creativity, and new perspectives our interns bring each summer. Opportunity to learn and I've created some really incredible relationships within the company. Lot of other interns too have been very funny and very cool. Community and culture is and that. New York Life is the perfect place to build a career because we exist to protect the livelihood of others, including and especially our employees. What really drew me to New York Life was the way that they're leveraging the new technologies and AI in the space. So I definitely feel like I haven't just been in my own little corner of working with technology. I've gotten to see how everyone works together as an entire company. It's made me smarter and willing to learn more. We've been around for almost 200 years, but our past is nothing compared to our future. Our interns are leaving an imprint on New York life history, and we hope they'll be back to help write the next chapter. Work hard, do what you gotta do, Lock in.
