How Chloe uses AI to boost AI&D operations at New York Life

Hi, I'm Chloe. I'm from New Jersey. I'm a rising senior at Cornell University, and I'm majoring in Operations Research and Information Engineering. I'm on the operations team in AI and Data and I'm on a business operations intern. What initially drew me to apply to New York Life was the company's age and long lasting reputation of being a leading company. And then throughout my interviews, they really emphasized how New York Life was going to be leveraging AI tools. And specifically in my interview with my now manager, he talked a lot about the commitment to integrating AI into operations, which perfectly aligned with my interests. So with my manager, I'm working on automating the procurement process for AI and data. So we've been working on building the current state for the last couple of weeks, just collecting data and information on that. And moving forward, we're going to be building the future state and specifically focusing on pain points in the intake process and the maintenance process. And the future state will include some sort of custom GBT among other things.
