Ok Tedi Mining Limited’s Post

We're excited to share the launch of the Hamamas Week, a special celebration marking Papua New Guinea’s 50th Independence Anniversary. The Hamamas Week will feature a week-long cultural celebration from September 10th -16th 2025 in Tabubil. The celebration is hosted annually by Ok Tedi to celebrate the country’s independence and recognise its contribution to Papua New Guinea. This year’s Hamamas Week, which marks the country’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, is a reflection of the pride and joy Ok Tedi as a nationally owned company feels towards PNG’s journey. It’s a week-long celebration of progress, culture, and unity, bringing together the workforce, business partners, and the community to recognise the achievements of the past and look forward to the promise of the future.
